Dr Daniel Jess
Dr Daniel Jess is Managing Director of Calder Reid, a judgement-led management advisory firm working with executives and boards in complex, high-accountability environments. He brings senior operational, governance, and advisory experience across disability, aged care, mental health, education, and professional services, and has advised organisations including Virgin Australia, Allianz, UNSW, Chempro Chemists, Infinite Aged Care, and the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Daniel has held board chair and deputy chair roles in large non-profit organisations, secured more than $20 million in government funding, and has led large, regulated service operations with responsibility for governance, risk, compliance, and organisational performance. His work focuses on helping leaders make sound, defensible decisions and build capability that holds under pressure and over time.

Angus Harrop
Angus Harrop is a Hospital Clinical Pharmacist with Queensland Health and a final year PhD candidate at The University of Queensland, specialising in advanced formulation science, biomaterials, and 3D printing technologies. He brings extensive clinical experience across cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, emergency, and surgical services, alongside senior leadership roles in digital health implementation and large-scale vaccination programs.
In parallel with his clinical practice, Angus is a sessional lecturer and tutor at The University of Queensland, contributing to the education and supervision of future health professionals. His work sits at the intersection of clinical care, applied research, and capability development, with a strong focus on safety, evidence-based practice, and translational impact.
